			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I came to the realization that I needed to lose weight when it became difficult to buy uniforms for my job.  I was working as a police officer, and unfortunately for me, the stereotype of cops loving donuts was true.  Actually, it wasn’t just donuts.  I had, and have, a weakness for anything sugary.  My weight was affecting my job and I knew it was time to make a change if I wanted to continue doing what I loved.  I wound up overhauling the way I ate.  I can’t even tell you what my eating habits used to be, the day was a blur of meals and snacks.  It was obvious that I needed to change the way I approached food.  I took control by buying several of those compartmentalized plates that are made for children.  My dinner plates were too large and my portions were more than hearty, so eating off a smaller plate gave me the illusion of having a full plate of food when in reality I was having a more sensible portion.  The compartments helped me balance my meal.  I filled snack size baggies with healthy snacks like almonds, carrots, and plain popcorn.  Having the snacks already portioned out and ready to go made it easier to grab a healthy snack than an unhealthy snack.  By changing the way I approached food, I was able to lose weight easily.</p>
<p><strong>Top Tip:</strong>  Use a smaller plate to eat your meals.  We eat with our eyes first, so filling a smaller plate gives you the illusion of having more food than you actually do.</p>

She had been taking it for a week and was noticing better weight loss than with exercise alone, and they were offering a free trial so I decided to try it too.  I ordered my free trial of CSlim and waited for it to arrive in the mail.  It arrived quickly, and I was excited to get started.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I knew I had to do something about my weight when it started to be hard to walk.  My joints were straining under the extra pounds and my doctor was worried about my heart.  It was getting dangerous to be so overweight and I knew I had to do something fast.  I’m terrified of surgery, so I scoured the Internet for the secret to losing weight.</p>
<p>A post in a forum directed me to <a href="http://www.tracklead.net/click.track?CID=143912&amp;AFID=149151&amp;ADID=421176&amp;SID=">HCG Ultra</a>. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I heard about the <a href="http://cw.nu/click?aid=7956&amp;linkid=B30258&amp;subid=&amp;subid2=&amp;subid3=&amp;subid4=&amp;subid5=">South Beach diet</a> in one of my women’s magazines.  The article said it was a safe, healthy, and effective way to lose weight.  The holidays had just gotten over and stores were starting to put out swim suits already.  I decided that by this time next year I’d be buying myself a bikini.  I made it my New Years resolution to lose the weight once and for all.</p>
<p>I’ll admit that I didn’t have the healthiest eating habits before starting the South Beach diet.  I ate out a lot, and had several take-out numbers programmed in my phone.  I was a self-proclaimed fast food addict, and had burgers for lunch a few times a week.  Phase 1 of the South Beach diet broke my bad food habits, and believe it or not, I didn’t crave the take-out and fast food.  I tried new kinds of food that I had never had before and I kept healthy snacks around for cravings and energy boosts.</p>
<p>I’ve always had a sweet tooth, so cutting sweets out of my diet was hard during phase 1.  Phase 2 introduced fruits, and the natural sugars satisfied my sweet tooth.  I eat more fruit now than I ever have in my life!</p>
<p>The South Beach diet taught me how to cook healthy meals.  It changed the way I eat, and it changed my life!</p>
<p><strong>Top Tip:</strong>  Dieting is only good for temporary weight loss.  Real weight loss is a result of changing your life and breaking bad food habits.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I joined Weight Watchers after battling the bulge for years.  I had tried every fad diet that crossed my path in the last twenty years and nothing worked.  Every time I’d lose a little bit of weight with a diet, I’d gain it all back and then some.  I was seriously considering plastic surgery, but wanted to try one last thing before going under the knife.  I tried Weight Watchers after seeing a commercial on TV and I’m glad I did.  I managed to attend all the meetings and I really put effort into following the rules.  Their program works by translating calories and fiber into points and only allowing yourself a certain number of points each day.  On top of their points program, I joined an adult softball team, a sport I enjoyed in high school.  The program is so easy to follow, and the meetings offer a support network unlike any other diet I’d ever tried.  I wish I had found Weight Watchers earlier, I spent too many years being over weight!</p>
<p><strong>Top Tip:</strong>  Exercise doesn’t have to be boring and it doesn’t always mean spending hours at the gym.  Find something you enjoy doing, like softball, and have fun with it!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One day my girlfriend invited me to go to the gym with her.  I automatically declined, not really being a gym person, but she didn’t give up.  She kept asking me to go with her every day after work and each day she would give me a new reason why I should go.  Finally, I agreed to go to get her off my back.  After our first day of working out, I was in agony.  My body hurt in places I never knew existed.  I didn’t want to go again, but my friend told me I couldn’t give up so easily.  She even showed up at my house and dragged me out the door to go with her.  After the first couple of weeks it got easier and I was looking forward to our time together at the gym.  We kept each other motivated and shared recipes for low-calorie dinners.  Together, we’ve lost over 150lbs and I don’t think I’d have ever done it without her!  Losing the weight with a friend made the whole process more enjoyable and less daunting.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I put on a lot of weight when I was pregnant with my twins.  Everyone told me to worry about the weight after the babies were born and woman after woman told me that the weight would melt off once I was chasing two kids around.  Well, it turns out that women like to lie to each other because the weight didn’t melt right off.  In fact, I continued to gain weight after the babies were born!  I kept asking my doctor if there was a third baby in there because I kept getting bigger.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is going to sound ridiculous, but Jerry from the Subway commercials changed my life.  I saw him on Oprah a few years ago and he was saying that he lost weight by walking to Subway and eating the lower calorie sandwiches every day.  The part of his story that stuck with me is that he walked to Subway.  I thought to myself, “Hey, I can do that too.”  I started out by walking to my favorite ice cream shop whenever I wanted ice cream.  I figured that if I really wanted the ice cream, it was worth the work of walking three blocks to get it.  It’s funny how many things you decide you can live without when you have to work to get them.  Anyway, since my diet wasn’t that bad to begin with, I didn’t feel the need to go to any extremes and only eat at Subway for example.  Instead, I kept my diet pretty much the same, but increased my exercise significantly.  Pretty soon I was walking everywhere.  I got a bike for going places farther away.  I lost weight because I was burning more calories than I was consuming.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was always the fat girl growing up.  I was physically active, and my mom tried to make healthy meals for our family, but despite that I still weighed more than my friends.  By the time I was in high school I started crash dieting, and sometimes my mom would diet with me for support.  I joined almost every gym in a twenty mile radius of my house at one point or another, but still the weight held on. Then one day I was watching Dr. Oz’s show and he did a story about <a href="http://www.tracklead.net/click.track?CID=199208&amp;AFID=149151&amp;ADID=702288&amp;SID=">African Mango</a>.  I’d never heard of it before, and that’s saying something since I’d tried just about every other diet out there.  I figured it couldn’t hurt to try one more diet.  After all, what’s the worst that could happen, it might not work?  No big deal, I was used to the disappointment.  I bought some African Mango and started taking it without telling anyone.  I didn’t want my husband to have to go through another failed diet with me.  The first week I lost 3 pounds!  Every week after that I lost another 3 to 4 pounds.  It took almost a year for me to lose all the weight, but I’m glad I stuck with it.  I look and feel better now than I ever have in my entire life!</p>

Worse yet, I wouldn’t eat breakfast or sometimes lunch in an attempt to “save calories” and my body would go into starvation mode. I know now that skipping meals was actually slowing down my metabolism. People think that once you lose the weight, the food cravings go away, but they don’t. I find that I still get food cravings, so I reward myself after a good workout with a tiny bite of one of my bad habits. It’s all about balance. I’ve got to say though, there’s nothing more motivating than a square of the perfect chocolate!</p>
<p><strong>Top Tip:</strong> Keep a full-body picture of yourself on the refrigerator or the pantry. Every time you reach for a snack you’ll be reminded of your goal.</p>
