I joined Weight Watchers after battling the bulge for years. I had tried every fad diet that crossed my path in the last twenty years and nothing worked. Every time I’d lose a little bit of weight with a diet, I’d gain it all back and then some. I was seriously considering plastic surgery, but wanted to try one last thing before going under the knife. I tried Weight Watchers after seeing a commercial on TV and I’m glad I did. I managed to attend all the meetings and I really put effort into following the rules. Their program works by translating calories and fiber into points and only allowing yourself a certain number of points each day. On top of their points program, I joined an adult softball team, a sport I enjoyed in high school. The program is so easy to follow, and the meetings offer a support network unlike any other diet I’d ever tried. I wish I had found Weight Watchers earlier, I spent too many years being over weight!
Top Tip: Exercise doesn’t have to be boring and it doesn’t always mean spending hours at the gym. Find something you enjoy doing, like softball, and have fun with it!
